Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Technical responsibility: You will be responsible for the technical management and architecture of SAP S/4HANA and will be the contact person for all questions relating to the system – from implementation to ongoing operation. The ongoing operation is carried out by an external hosting service provider, the further development of the SAP modules by local/centralised external service providers.
- Cross-module expert knowledge: You have in-depth knowledge of the most important SAP modules (e.g. FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, WM) and understand the interactions between them. You also have experience in the area of SAP authorisations.
- Focus on SAP EWM (optional): Ideally, you have experience with the introduction and integration of SAP EWM or are willing to familiarise yourself with this module in order to optimise warehouse processes.
- Interface management: You will support the integration of SAP S/4HANA with other systems within the corporate landscape, including MES systems, EDI connections and third-party applications.
- Sustainable system support: After the go-live, you will work with the external hosting service provider to ensure smooth operation, monitor system performance and support and manage the external service providers in adapting and optimising the SAP modules.
- Networking with the parent company: You will coordinate regularly with the IT department of the parent company in Germany to exchange best practices and ensure a harmonised SAP system landscape.
- Consultancy and support: You will work closely with the business departments to understand and document business requirements and develop IT solutions with external service providers that meet business objectives.
- Documentation and training: You will help with the creation of business requirements, technical documentation and support training for key users.

Personality requirements and skills
- Experience: You have experience in the implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA as well as in the management of external service providers, ideally in a greenfield approach.
- SAP knowledge: Sound knowledge of one or more SAP modules (e.g. FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, WM). Experience with SAP authorisations and SAP EWM is desirable, but not essential. However, you should be willing to familiarise yourself with SAP authorisations and SAP EWM.
- Integration expertise: Experience in the design and management of interfaces to other systems (e.g. MES, CRM, external data sources) and solid knowledge of middleware.
- Project management: Experience in working on IT projects, ideally in the SAP environment.
- Strong communication skills: You are able to communicate technical issues clearly and enjoy liaising with international colleagues, especially the parent company in Germany.
- Analytical skills: You bring a high level of problem-solving skills and can translate requirements from the business into functional and technical solutions.
- Language skills: Good Slovak and English language skills are required. German is an advantage, but not essential.
